The Cowgirl Co-op is hosting roping and reining clinics on Sat. Aug. 21 and Sunday Aug. 22. We will be featuring four clinicians in these clinics. Bring your horse and ride or attend clinics arena side.
Reining: Are you interested in learning: ** How to transition your horse from a snaffle bit to a full bridle ** What does it mean to be a bridle horse? ** The use of a bosal, lito, and jaquima (also known as a hackamore)
Roping ** Learn about the quiet way of good horsemanship and the working cattle ranch style of rope work. ** Learn about scoop loops, lazy loops, and hoolihans.
This is not special roping as seen in rodeos. This is the quiet way of doctoring cattle on the range, in true old west fashion.
The cost will be $100.00 for both days (with horse) includes cattle fee. $10.00/day for arena side observation.
Please call 509-991-4287 for more information.
