Hi everyone--
Palisades Park is a beautiful equestrian area right across from Indian Canyon Golf Course. If you haven't rode there, but want to, there are volunteers ready to take groups through and show them the trails--and sometimes we all meet there for a ride and would be happy to have extras.
April 24th is the annual cleanup. There's trail clearing, garbage pick up and rock moving. It starts at 9 and gets over at 12--with a tailgate lunch at 12:30. It's a good time to meet people and familiarize yourself with the riding area.
One of Palisades' long-term goals (hopefully, short term) is to connect Palisades to Riverside. It's harder than you'd think because so much land between them is private, but lately there have been some positive possibilities come forward. As far as distance, there isn't much distance that separates the two---it would be AWESOME if we could finally get them connected!!
