We had to get hay today.... of course the perfect hour was during the downpour at 10am. I got a nice grass round bale. Rounds are a pain, but it was very conveinent to get!

The horses were intently watching the few flashes of lightning in the distance we had last night, ready at any second to take off in a full gallop... I'm sure if they were in the same pasture they would have. We had a couple beautiful rainbows also.
I like the big square bales... my hubby can stack them and move them with his big muscles. JK He owns a semi and big bale stacker. Often when he is hauling for the farmers they have a few left over bales from a stack that don't fit on a semi load. Usually they are dairy quality. My horses and I are well taken care of LOL

I'd rather use the tractor than stack bales.

Anytime it's windy my guy gets a little riled up! But doesn't the air smell wonderful and fresh?

Wind... I suppose the Horses feel like they must run with the Wind... they always get a little nuts when the winds come. Makes the day fun.
