Does anyone know of a Buck Brannaman type trainer from Deer Park to Colville? I would love to find someone that has studied with Buck Brannaman to work with. Susan

I’m curious, are you looking for a Natural Horseman trainer who’s methods are like Buck Brannaman, such as Chris Cox, Pat Parelli, Richard Winters, Clinton Anderson, and Dennis Reis?

I really would like to find a Buck Brannaman person. I have been going to a ranch in Montana and they are trained by Brannaman and I want to continue to learn. I can only get there once a year but need someone to help guide me in between visits. I would consider someone trained by Chris Cox, Richard Winters or Dennis Reis but not Parelli or Anderson. Susan

Interesting, okay... any reason not Parelli or Anderson?

I am already working with a Parelli trainer and that is not working for me. After being at the ranch in Montana for a week I know what I am looking for and want to find someone to help me get there. Clinton Anderson I just don't like and think he can be pretty harsh... just my opinion. It would be nice to find a Brannaman trainer so I can keep doing things the same for both me and the horse. It really is amazing how each trainer is just a little different. They may all get to the same place and maybe my horse could "sort it all out", but I am having trouble and need/want to find someone that keep me going and understanding. If I could afford to stay at the ranch in Montana all summer I would be there learning... but I can't. oh well. I did ask Buck Brannaman last year if he had a student in this area and he said no so I am probably out of luck.

I know a trainer in Cheney that is working to get certified under Buck Brannaman, he's already going through the process his name is Jason Hicks. I don't know anyone up north though. If you want his information I can get it to you.
