And I'm a horse addict. Aren't we all? I was registered on the MDH forum as andreaid, I think. I'm not right near all of you but I might come up for an event here and there. I have four mustangs and an appaloosa. Also various other pets including a husband and two kids . Tonka (above) - 6 year old mustang gelding from Oregon- my riding horse I adopted as a 2 year old. Bella - 5 year old mustang mare from Idaho - adopted as a 2 year old. Mother of Scout (pregnant when I adopted her). (Bella at left, Scout at right) Scout - almost 2 year old gelding. Born into my lap. Awesome boy. Will make a wonderful trail challenge horse. He's pretty confident. I'll probably start serious saddle training next spring. Cisco - 13 year old mustang gelding from Nevada. Gentled and trained by someone else, we bought him in the fall of '08 for my husband. That's my mom riding. Soxy - 25 year old appaloosa mare. Gentle, the kind of horse everyone wants for their kids. My kids don't ride much but when they do they're safe. That's my mom in the picture again. Caught her with a funny face both times. She'd probably not be real happy if she knew.

LOL, Andrea I love the pics. And I love that your mom rides with you!
Maybe sometime this summer we can plan a ride down in your neck of the woods?

Hi Andrea. The horses look good.
Are you going to be up here when Lea gets Sage delivered?

I hadn't thought about that. That would be fun. I guess it would depend on when it is. I can't wait for her to get here, but now that Lea broke her toes maybe it would be better if it took a while.
Were you planning on going to meet Sage when she gets here? That would be fun if we could all get together.

I'd love to be there the day she arrives, if it's okay with Lea. I've never seen the BLM deliver before.

Whereabouts do you live? Did the new horse get delivered yet? Did you buy an unhandled mustang or one of the ones with some groundwork? I would have loved to have gone to the Extreme Mustang Makeover. Would be so cool to see. When I was horse-shopping last year I wanted a mustang but couldn't find one that met my needs at the time. I don't have the time or knowledge to do all the gentling for an unbroke horse. Maybe my next horse???!!!
