Hey everyone, I was kind of around when MDH was first created and then disappeared for a while when life took hold and sent me elsewhere for a bit. So anyway, since then I've gotten married and now own two horses, a Lineback dun QH mare named Breezy who loves to run and a skinny old TWH mare named Jet that I need to get fattened up as she's prone to getting boney. Jet I think will eventually be a kids horse only, she's older and doesn't like heavy riders. I live in Medical Lake, however closer to Highway 2 so I'm probably more accessible by Airway heights. I don't have a trailer (yet) but looking at getting one so I can trailer my horses to other places and go riding elsewhere. Anyway, looking for perhaps other people to ride with. looking forward to meeting you all Kami

Hi Kami,
Welcome back. I'm not too far from Medical Lake, about 12 miles, which is the same distance I am from Cheney and Sprague. Do you have any place to ride near your house?

Hi Kami--did you help me with the first forum and website?? I'm by Airway Heights/Hwy 2, too. I like to ride Palisades and Riverside--very close!

Hello Kami - I'm brand new to the forum and looking forward to a ride. I keep my horse on Murphy, a few miles from Medical Lake. I also have a new Featherlite combo/stock horse trailer, 2-horse slant load - one slot is always open!

Yeah, that's me I never actually met anybody in the group at the time, just helped out with the forum and all of that goodness, was hoping to get more involved but my life went in another direction at the time. I actually live pretty close to some property by deep creek, about 80 acres of public land near the rail road tracks. Lots of hills and stuff to ride. It's great for a quick ride but I definitely want to try some place new and see more stuff, and my mare acts completely different when we're exploring some place she's never been, she has this extra pep in her step. I haven't been riding anywhere else yet, I've only had her since April but she's a fantastic horse. Anyway, looking forward to getting in on some group rides with other people maybe later this summer or fall Attached is a pic on my wedding day, yeah, I'm a newly wed I had to get some pics on Breezy. We're looking at getting a taller horse for my husband, he's kind of a tall guy. Attachments:

That's funny! It's good to hear from you again...you were a BIG help. At the time, I was living in Lewiston and moving up here--hadn't actually got here yet, but we spoke on the phone. Sounds like a lot has happened in your life being newly married--CONGRATS!!
It would be nice if your 80 acres was Riverside accessible!!
You might want to check out Mustang Days today--it's out here by us--Busy Bees stables--just North of Airway Heights.
Also, we'll pick you up in one of our trailers and ride Riverside with you when we can all coordinate--I think Katie's trailer or truck is down, too....but maybe Tiki and I can bring our extra horses. Alisa, you're not trailering either?

What a cute picture! Thanks for sharing.
Kami, I'm sure I could go through Medical Lake and pick you up sometime. I have a two horse slant load and typically have one slot open, unless my son is wanting to ride. However, lately I'm broke, broke, broke so spending money on fuel for riding is just silly when I have 800 acres out my back gate.
When you get a trailer, your welcome to come ride here with me.

Sounds like fun I saw the advertisement for Mustang Days, unfortunately couldn't go because I was driving back from Portland. This weekend I'm going back down there to run a half marathon but I would totally be game for riding one of these summer days, so nice that the weather is getting a lot prettier now and not so rainy. @flyingcowgirl - 800 acres out your back gate, I'm jealous
