The people running this forum posted below are the former CBER, if you don't know what CBER is, please google Columbia Basin Equine Rescue and read. Regardless, I torture myself and watch this forum posted below and today I find 62 Icelandic Horses are at the feedlot. Breaks my heart. I've always been very interested in this fuzzy little horses. rebelsequinefeedlotsales.myfastforum.org/Available_Horses_about36.html

Holy buckets, 62 of them. Just this week my crazy partner Wendy took in 5 hungry Icelandics from N Idaho. A few years ago we got a couple 6-8yr old studs and gelded them and they have turned out to be really nice. They are very tractable wana be your buddy kinda horses and I find them much less reactionary (no predators in Iceland) than say my Arab with Alligators in the Spokane river. and of coarse cute as a bugs ear. If interested spokane.craigslist.org/grd/2039484513.html just looking to rehome them or just come by for a visit to see what they are like. sure hope some of those 62 can be saved.

Oh No! I just made a huge mistake and told Wendy about the 62 Icelandic's, now she thinks she can stuff 10 at a time in the horse trailer and bring them all home. I think I need to start building an Ark.

Oh good heavens! There was an Icelandic demo at the interstate fair several years ago -- before we had horses or horse property. I loved them and had always wanted one, but they were very pricey back in the day.
My barn is sort of full, or otherwise I'd be snapping one up!

There has been more information posted on the Fugly Horse Blog. If you read through the comments, there is a letter from a caretaker of the horses in regards to this whole deal. fuglyblog.com/?p=2434#commentsHarry, I saw the CL ad from Wendy and I also saw the flyer at the Cheney Feed Store. I'm going to send you an email.

I read the fugly horse blog! That is just horrible!! There seem to be to many people out there wanting to take advantage of kind hearted people!! It's very frustrating. I still wouldn't mind a Icelandic though
