That does look like fun! My horse likes to pony "his" colt along too. Indy has an adorable face.

Well thank you everybody. I should have done this a long time ago but I have never thought of it. Here's a link to my blog. I created it last year and I don't have very many followers since nobody really knows about it. But here it is alexangulliver.blogspot.com/

Hi David -- Indy is our 10-year-old Arab gelding that we talked to your dad about that has the rearing problem. It's actually not a problem 99% of the time - in an arena or where he feels safe, he's fine - but if he gets scared or resistant for any reason, he goes up. I'm hoping to get him in with a trainer in the spring who can get him over it. It feels to me like just a lack of a good "go forward" button, and I really think we can overcome it. If not, he's fun to play with in the arena anyway -- or anywhere he feels safe.
He's very sweet and docile, very mannerly, etc., and I think he's worth putting some time into. I would even place him in the right home, if one came along, as with my recent surgery on my foot (had some bones reconstructed with screws) I don't feel like I'm the one who can take him further. If you have any Arab enthusiast friends looking for a project, let me know!
