Scout will be 3 years old on March 31. He is 15 hands tall. He leads, loads, ties, trims, saddles, bridles, crosses bridges. Has been ridden 3 times in the round pen. He’s been on an overnight stay at a horse show, been ponied down the country road and in the mountains on logging roads and overgrown ATV trails. He is extremely friendly and curious. He will catch you in the pasture, you won’t have to chase him down. He’s also very quiet minded. He would make an excellent competitive trail horse. He has flashy markings and a long luxurious mane and tail. He is a dark red dun sabino roan. I get compliments on him wherever I take him. He is a mustang without the BLM brand – he was born here after I adopted his mother. They are from a herd in southern Idaho with heavy quarter horse influence. I am looking for an experienced owner for him due to his inexperience and need for training. He needs someone playful and inventive who loves to spend time goofing around with their horse. Located in Potlatch, Idaho. Email me for info - I don't get on the forum very often. andrea v at turbonet dot com

Here are a couple videos of Scout. The first one is about 10 minutes long and kind of like watching paint dry, but it shows him trailer loading, picking up his feet, walking through some water, grooming and saddling, and then mounting and dismounting from both sides, with a very short ride in the round pen. For a size reference, I'm 5'8" tall. The second video is nice and short, under two minutes, and shows him moving out under saddle a little more. Keep in mind it's his first ride outside the round pen, first ride with the bit in his mouth, and I'm not a professional trainer. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1plm73wf5_c www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7n8DPUB04o Andrea

I've decided not to sell him. He's just too good a horse to let go.
