Sadly, I have decided to try to find a perfect home for my 11-year-old Arabian gelding, Indy (JKF Center Stage). As Wayne and I approach retirement, we may be looking at selling our property and moving. We will keep one horse for each of us, but we need to start downsizing now so when the time is right we are free to be able to move. We are both having health problems that is making it difficult for us to keep taking care of the property. I took him in 3 years ago when he needed a home. He is a wonderful, sweet gelding with impeccable ground manners, loads on any trailer, holds his feet up all day if the farrier asks him to. He is a very sensitive soul and he gets worried easily. When I first got him, he would pop up and rear at any sign of what he perceived as danger. I got him to the point that he can be ridden in an enclosed area where he can see his boundaries without any problems. I rode him in a Mark Rashid clinic two years ago and he was wonderful. His sire, MHR Nobility, is a fancy park-type horse who is now deceased. www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6bCi_UF4ZkI would like to offer him to a home with a trainer or someone working with a trainer who would like to tackle rehabbing him from his rearing problem. With that conquered, he would have a chance at a forever home. We took him to Ocean Shores a couple of years ago. He ponies really well - sort of like a really well-behaved large dog! He is young enough to be able to have a chance with the right trainer.
