Hey everyone! There is an Adoption at Mountain Horse Stables the first weekend in May. The stables are located between Arden and Colville on the left hand side of the high way. I know my grandparents will be there with some "demo" horses and hopefully I will be too with Abby as a Demo Horse.
Come and look and have fun! maybe even adopt!!!

I hope I can come but I'm thinking it's not likely. Maybe I can come without horses for just part of the time. I'd hate to miss it, since there won't be any other adoptions near us this year.

i know! i wish there were more. just come and hang out for a little and have fun! these stables are really nice too!! i went to a clinic at them..

I got a newsletter from the BLM today saying it's the second weekend in May. If that's right I should be able to come AND bring the horses. Yay!

If anyone would like to adopt but doesn't have the facilities or want to do the gentling & halter training, I'd be happy to help you out. Here's some info from Craigslist: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will be having a wild horse/mustang auction and adoption at the Mountain House Stables Arena in Colville on May 7&8. The BLM will have 10 hand picked horses up for adoption. There will also be a tack swap going on, so bring your goods to sell. $5 flat consignment fee.
